Well I am pleased to say that I have returned safely from my Charity Trek to Slovenia, and along with the 13 others I travelled with, we have raised over £30,000 for Children Today, a North West charity that provides vital, life-changing equipment to severely disabled children.
This was a fabulous experience, and a great way to unwind and gain some peace of mind, and a welcome break from the day to day challenges of running a busy property sales, lettings and management business.
The trekking was hard, early starts and long days, but the views and scenery made it well worth it. I learnt alot about the history of this beautiful region, and met some wonderful local people and made some fantastic new friends!
I would highly recommend a trip to Slovenia, as its a country steeped in history and natural beauty, from gorgeous lakes to stunning mountain tops and lush pine forests. I enjoyed every second in this country, and I cannot wait to return one day with family or friends.
I’m pleased to say that I am back in the office now, back ‘in the swing’ and enjoying every minute of getting back to business!
